Davina Mendelsohn - Co-president & Co-Chair

Davina is a second year MBA candidate at London Business School. During the summer she interned at Goldman Sachs in the Industrials and TMT investment banking team. Before joining LBS, Davina worked at Deutsche Bank as an Equity Research Analyst covering European Business Services, and at Mercury Capital Advisors raising Private Equity Funds. Davina was a member of the winning team which represented London Business School at the RSM Private Equity Case Competition in December 2014.

Davina graduated from Oxford University with an MA in Ancient History, and from the University of Cape Town with a Bachelors in Politics Philosophy and Economics. Davina sits on the Board of Trustees for London-based contemporary dance company, Tavaziva Dance.

 

Michael Bennett - Co-president & Co-Chair

Michael is a second-year MBA candidate at London Business School and co-chair of the 12th annual Private equity and Venture Capital Conference. Most recently, Michael interned with Synova Capital, a leading private equity investor into fast-growing UK businesses. Prior to LBS, Michael worked for a family investment office in Western Canada with a focus on commercial real estate and investment in a variety of operating businesses. He was involved in managing the expansion of a private equity backed video surveillance company in Canada as Director of Business Development. Michael began his career in commercial real estate and holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree.

 

Louiza Segouini - Treasury

Louiza is a Masters in Management candidate at London Business School. Before joining LBS, she worked in the Investment Banking Division at Citi, where she was part of the German Market Coverage team. Prior to that she did an internship in the Corporate Finance Department at KPMG and rotated between the Project Finance for Public Infrastructure and Real Estate team.

Louiza graduated from the Vienna University of Economics and Business with a BSc in International Business Administration and received Merit Scholarships for outstanding academic performance. As part of her bachelor’s degree she spent one semester abroad at Singapore Management University.

 

Shoko Hashimoto - Marketing & Communications

Shoko is a first year MBA Candidate at London Business School. Prior to LBS, Shoko worked for In-house M&A at ITOCHU Corporation, where she focused on deal sourcing and post-merger integrations on cross-border transactions. During her time at ITOCHU, she analyzed and structured PE investment opportunities in Hong Kong, China and Japan.

Shoko graduated from the University of Tokyo with B.Sc. in Biotechnology and Biological Chemistry.

 

Victor Mendoza - Marketing & Communications

Victor is a first-year Masters in Finance Candidate at London Business School. Prior to LBS, Victor was working as Project Finance VP at SHF, a Mexican development bank, where he analysed and structured housing construction financing projects. Previously, as an Associate at SHF, Victor developed a strategy for the banks’ non-performing mortgage portfolios.

He started his career working as an Alternative Investments & Corporate Credit Analyst in SURA Investment Management, one of Mexico’s largest pension funds, conducting due diligence on Private Equity funds and performing credit analysis on corporate and structured bonds.

Victor holds a Bachelor’s degree in Financial Management from Tecnologico de Monterrey (ITESM), and interned in the Strategy team of HSBC Latin America.

 

Miikka Ahokas - Marketing & Communications

Miikka is a Masters in Management student at London Business School. Before joining London Business School he interned at Nordic private equity company CapMan and spent 3 months at The Boston Consulting Group as Visiting Associate. He has also experiences from business development and mobile technology from Procter & Gamble and Microsoft.

Miikka is one of the very few students at London Business School with Finnish background and holds BSc in Industrial Engineering and Management (1st of class) from Tampere University of Technology, Finland.

 

Franz Liebig - Private Equity Keynote Speakers

Franz is a Masters in Finance candidate at London Business School. Prior to LBS, Franz worked for five years as an Investment Professional at FaMAS on cross-boarder private equity transactions. While at FaMAS, he focused on corporate turnarounds, post merger integrations and deal execution. He worked with foreign strategic and high-net-worth investors from over 20 countries on more than a dozen small and mid-cap transactions in Germany.

Franz was awarded the German Academic Exchange Service scholarship to read his Dual Degree Programme at WFI Ingolstadt (Germany) and Tongji University (China) where he holds a BSc in Corporate Finance. At LBS, he is Academic Representative of the 2016 class and in charge of the Keynote Speaker sourcing for the PEVC Conference 2016.

In 2013, Franz has been nominated “Global Shaper” – a World Economic Forum initiative to connect dynamic, entrepreneurial and socially-engaged young leaders across the globe. He speaks German, English, French, Spanish and Chinese.

 

Stefano Greco - Private Equity Panels

Stefano is a first year MBA Candidate at London Business School. Prior to LBS, Stefano has worked for Bloomberg in London and for the past 3 years for Strategy& (formerly Booz & Company), where he specialized on Commercial Due Diligence projects for Private Equity firms, Corporates and Sovereign Wealth Funds across various industries and geographies.

Stefano graduated from Bocconi University, Italy, holding a Double Degree in International Management at CEMS (The Global Alliance in Management Education).

Prachi is a first year MBA student at London Business School. Prior to joining London Business School, Prachi worked in Investment Banking Division of Credit Suisse as an Analyst for about four years. Prachi was part of India coverage team and during her time there she worked on Mergers and Acquisitions, Equity and Debt Capital Market projects across different industries like e-commerce, Consumer goods, Automotive, Industrials and Insurance.

At London Business School, Prachi is a committee member of the PE/VC Conference and responsible for speaker sourcing. She holds a bachelor in technology from Indian Institute of Technology-Delhi, India.

 

Andres Chavez - Private Equity Panels

Andres is a first-year MBA student at London Business School. Prior to LBS, Andres worked as a consultant for McKinsey & Company in Mexico City. He was involved in projects in the oil & gas, banking, healthcare, consumer and real estate sectors. More recently, he served as Deputy Director in the Mexican Ministry of Finance as part of a one-year secondment program. During this time, he focused on improving productivity in Mexico.

Andres holds an undergraduate degree in Economics from the Instituto Tecnologico Autonomo de Mexico (ITAM).

 

Kamil Gajdzinski - Private Equity Panels

Kamil is currently a Masters in Management student and a recipient of the Santander Scholarship.  Prior to starting LBS, Kamil interned at McKinsey & Company, The Boston Consulting Group and MCI Management, a leading Polish Private Equity and Venture Capital group. He also gained experience in a family investment fund.

Kamil has completed the BBA programme in Finance and Accounting at Kozminski University in Warsaw and an exchange programme at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.

Prior to joining Yigal Arnon, Noam served as a sniper platoon commander and company sergeant major in the paratroopers brigade of the Israeli Defense Forces. Karthik Suresh is a first year MBA student at London Business School.  Karthik started his career at Morgan Stanley in Equity Derivatives Group in New York and later moved to KCG Holdings Inc, one of the largest electronic trading firms in United States where he created and developed algorithmic trading strategies for various asset classes.  

Karthik holds a Masters degree in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh, USA.
