Arun Venkatachalam

Arun started his career as an investment banking analyst in Mumbai with Axis Capital & Lazard, focussed on sectors such as Healthcare, Industrials & Technology. He then joined his family business (Murugappa Group) working at Sugar & Farm Inputs maker EID Parry. Arun completed his undergraduate studies at Lancaster University receiving a degree in Business Management.

Amartya Sinha

Co-Chair, India Business Forum

Amartya is a second year MBA student at London Business School. Prior to joining LBS, he was a consultant with A.T. Kearney for 4 years, specializing in the Consumer goods and automotive sector in the Mumbai office. Amartya completed his undergraduate degree at Carleton College where he double majored in Economics and Mathematics.

Abhinay Reddy

India Business Forum –  VP Logistics

Abhinay is a Masters in Finance candidate at London Business School. Prior to joining LBS, Abhinay worked in the Investment Banking Division at Motilal Oswal for four years. Abhinay was part of the M&A team and successfully advised clients on domestic and cross-border acquisitions across sectors such as industrials, cement and auto-components. Abhinay has an MBA from NMIMS, Mumbai where he was on the Dean’s List and a Bachelors in Electronics & Communication Engineering from College of Engineering, Guindy, Chennai. He is the MiF program representative on the LBS Student Association.

Sushen Mittal

Sushen is a first year MBA candidate at London Business School. Prior to LBS, he was managing his family business portfolio in India and was responsible for business development across steel, textile and power setups. Sushen finished his undergraduate study in Industrial Engineering from Georgia Institute Of Technology.

Himani Saxena

India Business Forum –  VP Logistics

Himani is a first year MBA candidate at London Business School. Prior to her MBA, she was an investment banking analyst with Nomura in Mumbai and London, where she closed several public debt financing transactions for global corporates, banks and governmental agencies. As part of the India Business Forum executive committee, she hopes to contribute to and intensify the dialogue on achieving efficiencies in the Indian debt capital markets on this global forum. Himani holds a B.Tech degree in engineering from IIT Kharagpur and is CFA Level 1 certified.

Divya Sabanayagam

India Business Forum –  VP Marketing

Divya is a first year MBA student at London Business School. She started her career as a transfer pricing consultant at Ernst & Young in the Minneapolis office. She then moved to India for the Teach For India fellowship, where she taught in a low-income school in Chennai. She then worked in her family business, Sree Sumangala Metals & Industries, prior to joining LBS. Divya has an undergraduate degree in Economics from Carleton College.

Aastha Pitalia

Aastha is a first year MBA student at London Business School. Prior to joining LBS, she was a consultant with a Member of Indian Parliament. She also spent two years in a management consulting firm, specializing in the organization transformation practise in their Mumbai office. Aastha completed her undergraduate degree at Indian Institute of Technology Delhi.

Anjali Merchant

Anjali is a first year MBA student at London Business School. Before joining LBS, Anjali started a pharmaceuticals marketing company in India, Encore Healthcare (Marketing), within the larger Encore Group of companies. She completed her undergraduate degree from Babson College where she majored in entrepreneurship and strategic management.

Rajvee Mehta

Rajvee is a first-year MBA student at London Business School. Prior to joining LBS, she worked in the retail-real estate arm of her family business. She also has experience in working at a chartered accounting firm, specifically in the audit and tax department. At London Business School, Rajvee is a committee member of the India Business Forum and responsible for speaker sourcing. She holds a bachelor in commerce degree from Pune University.

Saumya Lalbhai

Saumya is a first-year MBA student at London Business School. Prior to joining LBS, he worked with his family business – Atul Ltd, where he spearheaded the epoxy retail business amongst many other projects in chemicals manufacturing. Saumya completed his undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering from Northwestern University and worked with BCG’s Mumbai office for a year before joining Atul.

Julius Betmann

Julius is a Global Masters in Management candidate with a degree in economics from the University of St. Gallen. He previously worked at McKinsey & Company in India. Julius was a co-organiser of the St. Gallen Symposium.

Sanjyukta Chauhan

Sanjyukta is a first year MBA student at London Business School.  She has 5 years experience in Strategy Consulting and Investment Banking across multiple industries – Consumer products, Logistics, Healthcare, Outsourcing etc. Prior to LBS, she worked with the management consulting and due diligence team in companies like KPMG and Ernst and Young on market entry, strategic due diligence, partnership search and forensic due diligence projects for large business corporates and private equity clients.
