David is a proud feminist and a geek, father to Nathan and married to May. He was CCO/COO at Wefarm, a community driven startup which grew to 150 employees, scaled to 3m users in East Africa and raised $40m from VCs in US and Europe.

Before joining Wefarm, David spent the last decade as a venture investor investing in more than 350 startups and 5 VC funds across Europe. He Co-founded Alma Angels (a community of diverse Angels backing ambitious female founders with more than 350 angels ) and ADV ($200m fund investing in early stage). 

David ran corporate venture arms and worked on M&A deals across the globe and had the pleasure to work and support amazing founders and invest alongside great investors. Before moving into venture David co-founded a software development house building Fintech and Telco products. He grew the team from 4 to over 50 employees by the time he left with 15 different products deployed in 70% of the industry.
