India Business Forum 2016 presents

"Disruptive Innovation– Changing Business Landscapes in the 21st Century"

13th May 2016, St James Court, Taj Hotel, London

India Business Forum is the annual flagship conference of the LBS India Club.

The theme for IBF 2016, “Disruption in India” will focus on the different ways emerging startups and established companies both forge new pathways, and react to the resultant scenario. Indian startups have emerged at the cusp of a new consumer landscape, shocking the market and forcing larger companies to rapidly change their marketing and distribution strategies, amongst others. IBF will bring together a host of different voices drawing from both large business and startups across varied industries, to provide a holistic view of the changing landscape of Indian business, and its promising future.

In the first 3 quarters of 2015, Startups have received over ~US$ 4.5 billion in venture funding invested in over 600+ companies. Several VCs buoyed by the success of marquee breakout companies have raised sizeable new funds to find the next big winner. However, with large rounds of funding, do come equally large expectations of performance.

Is the market ahead or behind expectations of investors? Is consolidation around the corner? Why is it still the best time to be an entrepreneur in India?
