Zubair Junjunia, at 16, launched ZNotes in Jeddah to democratize access to education, aiming to offset the disparities he observed in educational opportunities. His platform quickly expanded, reaching over five million students across 190 countries by providing quality study materials and fostering a community for peer support. His efforts were recognized with the prestigious Diana Award in 2021, spotlighting his significant contributions to global education reform. 

Zubair's advocacy and achievements have earned him notable accolades, including being named a Generation17 Young Leader by the UNDP and Samsung in 2023 for his work towards achieving the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals. That same year, he received the Freedom of the City of London, marking him as one of its youngest recipients for his outstanding contributions. A frequent speaker on international forums, Zubair has shared his insights at the UN ECOSOC Youth Forum, UCL’s graduation, and delivered a TED talk on inclusive education. He also holds influential positions as the UK Youth Leader for the Global Partnership for Education and a board advisor at Cambridge University, further driving forward his mission for equitable education.
