Sam Baker brings over three decades of consulting experience to the fight against climate change, working on initiatives at system, organization and community levels. As a Strategic Advisor for Business Declares, Sam brings diverse climate related topics and approaches to business including de-growth and Climate Fresk. He is a Chairman of Drivers for Change, where he leads initiatives aimed at enhancing climate change awareness and action, including the notable Walk2COP26 and Walk2COP27 initiatives. Previous roles include leading the Goal 13 Impact Platform whilst at Deloitte and contributing to the World Economic Forum's Measuring Stakeholder Capitalism project.

With an MBA from London Business School and a BSc in Economics and Accounting from the University of Bristol, Sam's academic background complements his professional experience in strategy consulting, impact and ESG, and climate change. His earlier career, including 6 years in Tanzania with VSO and then PWC, contributes to Sam’s broad perspective on the challenges we face and the solutions we can deploy. Sam's Climate Workshop at LBS’s Social Impact Conference provides the opportunity to debate corporate responsibility, strategic sustainability, and the transformative power of collective action in addressing climate change.
