Chris Caldwell is CEO of United Renewables, a leading Renewable Energy developer and Cleantech investor. Away from the day job, Chris is the voice behind the ‘Conversations on Climate’ podcast, engaging with world leading experts drawn largely from the LBS community on the how to achieve sustainable growth. Chris also shares his insights as a keynote speaker, panelist at various conferences, through a popular LinkedIn newsletter, and as a columnist for Illuminem. 

Chris holds a Bachelor of Business Studies from Trinity College Dublin and read law at the College of Law in London. Following qualification as a solicitor he specialised in corporate restructurings and corporate finance before choosing to pursue a career in Investment Banking in the City of London. 

Following 10 years in banking, Chris undertook the EMBA at London Business School and transitioned into Entrepreneurship. During his time at LBS, Chris was elected as Class Representative and as President of the Student Association Assembly and was named as a Student of the Year. 

Chris has remained close to LBS since graduation, having served as Co President of the Alumni Energy Club and is currently a member of the Executive Committee of the Alumni Council, a member of the LBS Sustainability Taskforce and an Alumni Champion on the Business Schools 4 Climate Initiative.
