Cult Mia
Nina Briance grew up between Mexico, US and Switzerland. After graduating from Stanford
University in 2013, Nina spent one year in Geneva working for the United Nations' Women and
Trade team, with the mission of supporting female entrepreneurs in the least developed countries
to scale their microenterprises.
Nina spent a significant part of her career working in finance, across investment banking and
wealth management between Goldman Sachs and UBS in London. She transitioned to fashion
e-commerce by joining Moda Operandi's strategy and global sales team, where Nina specifically
worked on improving the e-commerce experience and structured Moda’s first customer loyalty
program.
Nina completed her MBA at the London Business School while working at Moda Operandi. Nina
developed her startup, Cult Mia, during business school, which was handpicked by VCs and
awarded the first prize in LBS' 2019 Launchpad program. She was then selected as one of the ten
businesses to join LBS' Incubator Programme 2019-2020. Nina officially launched Cult Mia, your
