Sho Hatakeyama is the Project Operations Director at Climate Impact Partners, where he leads operations for complex, large‑scale carbon projects across emerging markets. Sho has played a central role in operationalising some of the world’s most ambitious carbon and nature projects, including large community‑based afforestation programmes involving hundreds of villages and farmers in India and the Philippines.

Before CIP, Sho was a management consultant at Bain & Company, advising global organisations on strategy and performance, and now works at the intersection of private capital, climate markets, and on‑the‑ground delivery.
