Professor Ioannis Ioannou is a globally recognised expert in sustainability leadership, corporate responsibility, and the integration of environmental and social issues into business strategy. His research on sustainable business models and investment markets has been published in leading journals, and he is widely recognised for both his academic influence and practical engagement with senior leaders, boards, and global organisations on sustainability leadership.

He has also designed and delivered a six-week online course on Sustainability Leadership and Corporate Responsibility for more than 1,000 senior leaders and board members worldwide, and his contributions to responsible business education earned him the Financial Times Responsible Business Education Award.

Professor Ioannou holds a magna cum laude degree in Economics and Mathematics from Yale University (as a CASP/Fulbright Scholar) and a PhD in Business Economics from Harvard University and Harvard Business School. As Associate Professor with tenure at London Business School, he teaches on various degree programs and contributes to executive education programs on Responsible Business and Sustainability.
