Sunil Lalvani is a social entrepreneur and business leader focused on rethinking how value, accountability, and risk are defined in modern capitalism. He is the Founder & CEO of Project Maji, a social enterprise that designs, builds, and operates community-managed water infrastructure across rural sub-Saharan Africa, currently serving 500,000+ people across Ghana, Kenya, and Uganda, with Nigeria operations launching in 2026. Project Maji’s model has been featured in Harvard Business Review and is the subject of a Harvard Business School case study.

Earlier, Sunil was Group Managing Director of Binatone, leading multinational consumer electronics operations across emerging markets. He is also the founder of Unboxing Impact, a platform exploring the limits of shareholder primacy, ESG, and conventional impact investing. A frequent speaker and guest lecturer at institutions including Harvard Business School, NYU, London Business School, and ESADE, Sunil is a YPO member and is based in Dubai.
