Katharina is Co-Head of Global Sustainability at Carlyle, where she leads the firm’s global sustainability strategy, focusing on portfolio value creation across Europe and Asia, ESG integration in credit, and strategic growth initiatives. She is based in London.

Prior to Carlyle, she worked at British International Investment, strengthening impact and ESG practices across equity, debt, and fund-of-funds teams. Earlier in her career, she worked in public policy reform, supporting companies and investors in community engagement and impact-led value creation.

Katharina holds an MBA from London Business School and an MSc from the London School of Economics.
