Laura has over 20 years of international experience in private equity, asset management, investment banking, and competitive golf. Originally from Argentina, Laura attended the University of South Carolina on a full golf scholarship before beginning her finance career at Wachovia Capital Markets in the United States. She later worked at Finance S.A. in Argentina, before moving to Goldman Sachs in London, where she was responsible for managing $32 billion in AUM, and subsequently continued her investing career at Strategic Value Partners in the United Kingdom.
Laura now serves as Senior Advisor at Pitch15, an investment fund focused on scaling women’s sport globally through investments in elite teams, leagues, and media platforms.
A 2017 LBS MBA graduate, Laura was actively involved on campus as a peer leader and member of the finance, golf, and touch rugby clubs, helping the School secure victory at Duke’s MBA Rugby World Cup. Her commitment to giving back began in high school when she co-founded a golf school for people with disabilities. Today, she serves as an executive committee member of the LBS Alumni Council, mentors athletes, entrepreneurs, and students, and holds non-executive roles across investments, sport, and education.
