Afua Kyei is Chief Financial Officer of the Bank of England. She was recognisedas the UK’s most influential Black person on the Powerlist 2026 and named among the Independent’s Top 20 most influential women in the UK on International Women’s Day 2025. Since joining the Bank in 2019, Afua has been at the heart of its leadership and decision making.
