Emma is a passionate leader in driving diversity and inclusion strategies, currently serving as the Head of Diversity and Inclusion at Innovate UK Business Connect. She leads the work driving Innovate UK’s Inclusive Innovation Programmes including Women in Innovation and No Limits. 

Throughout her career, Emma has delivered high-impact cultural change through strategic programmes, including policy development, equality charter marks, and the creation and execution of EDI strategies. Her work spans over 10 years in both the higher education and public sectors, empowering organizations to achieve meaningful and sustainable progress. 

A scientist by background, Emma holds a PhD in Chemistry and brings a unique perspective on the EDI challenges in research, innovation and higher education sectors.
