Zhanet has a background in conducting world-class science and translating discoveries into real-world applications.  She holds a DPhil in Materials Sciences from the University of Oxford, where she investigated quantum dot technologies for environmentally friendly applications such as clean energy to non-toxic biotechnologies. Her novel research resulted in a patent application as an inventor. Her journey from academia to a high-tech entrepreneur contains her belief that scientific discoveries should positively impact society and that this is one of the key responsibilities of scientists.
