Diana Noble’s background is in private equity, venture capital and international development.  She was a partner of Schroder Ventures/Permira, for 10 years, founder CEO of eVentures and Reed Elsevier Ventures and then from 2016-2011, EVP Operations of the Clinton Foundation Health Access Initiative (CHAI) covering 30+ countries and six global teams and in particular bringing access to HIV/AIDS care and treatment for children up to the same levels as that available to adults.  From 2011-17 she combined her investing and impact experience as CEO of CDC (now British International Investment), the British Government’s development finance institution, investing solely in Africa and South Asia, with a dual mission of financial return and development impact.  She is currently Deputy Chair of the Bank of England’s Court (the Bank’s governing Board), a Governor on the Board of Wellcome Trust, and a Non-Executive Director of Brookfield Asset Management.  She just ended a six year term on the Board and Chair of the Investment Committee of MedAccess, which accelerates access to healthcare products for patients across Africa and South Asia through innovative structures such as volume guarantees for manufacturers.  She has published research jointly with Harvard Business School on founder and leader succession in Private Equity and Venture Capital, titled “When to Go and How to Go”.
