Dan has over 27 years of experience in infrastructure mostly in sub-Saharan Africa.  He started his career at renowned Clifford Chance, London, as a lawyer in the Energy & Infrastructure. 

He also worked for Globeleq as Senior Lawyer, for Empower as Commercial Director. Dan then joined IFC in the PPP Transaction Advisory Services team focusing on renewable energy and later the Africa Infrastructure team, working across various African countries. He then co-founded the Scaling Solar program.  

Dan holds an LLB from Durham University, an LLM in Human Rights Law from University College London and an Executive MBA from London Business School
