Trailblazing as the first ever African to lead a Power Africa Program, Adaku has connected millions of households to the grid and facilitated $6 billion worth of energy investment in West Africa. 
Her work in pioneering climate-focused policies, as well as promoting renewable energy investment and generation in Africa was honored through the African Attorney of the year award making her the youngest recipient and first non-South African to win the prestigious award.
