Stephen Kirk has 22 years of experience analyzing, trading, and investing in global financial equities. He’s the CIO of Pelham Global Financials, a long/short fund focused on global financial stocks which he set up in 2015. From 2005 to 2014, Stephen was a senior member of the Lansdowne Global Financials Fund. Stephen was made a partner in 2008 due to his performance, in particular his single stock shorts in the financial sector.

Stephen also featured in The Hedge Fund Journal’s 2016 Tomorrow’s Titans list. Prior to Lansdowne, Stephen spent 12 years on the sell side at Deutsche Bank and JP Morgan, as a senior Director in European Financial Equity Research. Stephen graduated from City University in 1991.
