Dr Tom Gosling is a partner at professional services firm PwC, where he advises the boards of major multinational companies on executive pay. Prior to joining the firm in 1996, he was a Research Fellow in the Department of Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics at Emmanuel College, Cambridge.

Dr Gosling's research focuses on corporate governance and executive pay across sectors, with a particular focus on how these issues affect performance and long-termism. He works on application of research in these areas to public policy, and in this context is a member of the Steering Group of the Purposeful Company Taskforce.
