Christof Edel joined Thomson Reuters Financial in December 2013. In his current role as Global Head of Strategy for F&R, he is shaping our long-term vision and direction, working with the F&R leadership team to identify trends, select markets and propositions in which we want to grow, define how we differentiate ourselves from our competition, and how we execute to deliver.

Prior to taking this role, he held the role of Head of Proposition Strategy for Financial, where he reshaped in which areas we want to grow or compete, and drove the development of our business platform strategy.

Before joining Thomson Reuters, Christof gathered extensive experience both as a consultant at McKinsey and in the wholesale banking divisions of Deutsche Bank and Lehman Brothers/ Nomura.

In his spare time, Christof enjoys flying light aircraft, and on occasion uses his flight instructor privileges to teach people how fly.
