Professor Moses Oketch is a leading scholar in international education policy and development, with a particular focus on the intersection between education, economic growth, and social transformation in Africa. He is a Professor of International Education Policy and Development at the UCL Institute of Education, one of the world’s foremost institutions for education research.

His work spans key areas such as technical and vocational education and training (TVET), skills development, education financing, and policy reform, with a strong emphasis on how education systems can drive inclusive and sustainable development. Professor Oketch has published widely on the role of education in addressing youth unemployment, promoting economic inclusion, and achieving development goals across the African continent.
