Jen Braswell is Head of Impact for the Private Capital Business at EQT, focusing on defining and rolling out best practice approaches to underwriting, managing and measuring real world sustainability results across a range of EQT’s strategies, including the lighthouse impact fund: EQT Future. Jen is also the founding Director of 2X Global, the leading industry body for gender lens investing, and she has long been an advocate for embedding gender and diversity considerations in private markets decision-making. Jen has 20+ years of experience as a business leader and champion of sustainability and impact, including 7 years as head of Impact Value Creation at the UK’s Development Finance Institution, British International Investment, where she oversaw expert teams on gender & diversity finance, climate change, job quality and skills - to drive value creation through an impact lens across the portfolio. Jen is a licensed attorney in New York and started her career in management consulting – focusing on regulatory reform and sustainability integration in emerging markets with a variety of advisory roles over 15+ years, including an extended role at Booz Allen Hamilton as Head of the International Development and Cooperation practice, with oversight of P&L and operations across Eurasia, Africa and SE Asia.
