Martin is Executive Director of the Future-Fit Foundation which he co-founded in 2013. His principal focus is working with investors and asset owners to incorporate future-fit metrics into their investment decisions, encouraging the creation of more sustainable portfolios.

Prior to this, Martin spent 7 years as Sales Director of Social Finance Limited where he focused on product structuring and developing the investor base for social impact investments. This included a period serving as a member of the Asset Allocation Working Group for the G7 Social Investment Task Force. He previously spent over 12 years in international investment banking working on structured finance products for UBS Warburg, JPMorgan and HSBC.

Martin has a passion for international development and poverty relief. He is a non-executive Director and Chair of the Endowment Investment Committee of Access Foundation, and is a member of Panahpur’s Investment Committee, The Social Investment Business’s Assets and Liabilities Committee, and Christian Aid’s “In Their Lifetime” campaign directorate. He holds a double-Masters in Engineering from Queens’ College, Cambridge.
